QA Automation Engineer

THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE

       At IV Future, we are looking for a proactive and highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our development team. This is a critical role designed for a self-starter who can take ownership of the quality assurance process.

       You will be responsible for building a testing infrastructure from the ground up for products that currently lack automated coverage, ensuring our software remains secure, scalable, and high-performing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Strategy & Implementation: Define and implement a comprehensive automated testing strategy for products with no current test coverage.
• Framework Management: Set up and maintain modern automated test frameworks and test suites tailored to our web applications.
• Requirements Analysis: Review and deeply understand existing web applications and business requirements to ensure testing aligns with project goals.
• Test Prioritization: Identify critical user journeys and prioritize test coverage accordingly to mitigate the highest risks first.
• Test Execution: Write, execute, and maintain automated tests across multiple layers, including UI, API, and integration tests.
• Manual Testing: Perform manual exploratory and regression testing as required to ensure full-spectrum quality.
• Defect Tracking: Log, track, and verify software defects through to resolution, ensuring a bug-free user experience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product stakeholders to improve software testability and overall quality.
• Standardization: Establish testing standards, best practices, and thorough documentation for the engineering team.
• CI/CD Integration: Ensure automated tests are integrated into the build and CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Reporting: Provide clear test reports and regular quality status updates to the delivery and management teams.
• Proactive Improvement: Act as a self-starter by proactively learning the product, identifying potential risks, and proposing continuous improvements.

KEY SKILLS YOU NEED

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on automation;
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar;
• Experience writing API tests (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools);
• Understanding of test design techniques and testing methodologies;
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Attention to detail and structured thinking;
• Ability to work independently and take initiative;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
